In addition to my design work, I am also a dedicated aspiring author. Before attending Parsons the New School for Design, I spent two years at New York University studying creative writing. I still pursue my interests in writing both apart from and as a part of my design practice.

I write long-form, character-driven speculative fiction frequently centered around themes of religion and spirituality, immortality and agelessness, and artificial intelligence. I'm very interested in, and occasionally write for and about, dynamic and interactive narratives, including Interactive Fiction, hypertext fiction, and writing for video games. I also write the occasional guest piece at purple SKY, a new media site delivering content about Japanese music.

In the future, as I make headway on my current work-in-progress, expect this section to become a little more fleshed out, with information about my writing projects, links of writerly interest, and a blog about my writing life.
